Our office is pleased to announce the addition of a new treatment modality! Although available in Europe for more than 20 years, only recently the FDA approved it in the United States. Laser Light Therapy is backed by extensive research and hundreds of published studies. Therapy with 3 wavelengths enables stimulation of different target sites: Pain receptors at the surface as well as deeper tissue structures are stimulated at the same time.In particular, the wavelength of 1064 nm which has the lowest scatter in the tissue promotes penetration of the radiation into the deep layers of tissue.
Covering a variety of conditions including:
- Arthritis (knee, hip, spine, elbow, hand)
- Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
- TMJ pain
- Plantar Fasciitis
- Tendonitis (wrist, elbow, shoulder, knee, ankle)
- Low back pain, neck pain, and sciatica
- Migraine/tension headache
- Frozen shoulder/rotator cuff injuries
Wavelengths and its benefits:
-
810nm : Exposure at these wavelengths increases the binding process of hemoglobins to the red blood cell. Which then increases oxygen absorption in the tissue.
-
980nm : Affects the distribution of calcium by decreasing the amount of calcium in the mitochondria and increasing the calcium within the liquid of the cell.
-
1064nm :The deep penetration provided by this light wavelength offers activation of metabolic processes within the tissue
What is the main difference from other lasers?
The advantage of laser therapy with high power is More power increases the power density in the tissue and is layers. This also results in an increase in the thermal effect in deeper layers.
As a result of the OptonPro’s high power class IV laser, the distance to the tissue, and thus the radius of the therapeutic area, can be greatly enlarged. This can mean a significant time savings for the user.
Broad treatment spectrum ,The simultaneous output of three wavelengths of laser light opens up a broad field of therapeutic options for the user and patient. Treating differwent areas depending on their needs.
